Launched in 2020, this content site has been generating a steady stream of traffic and recurring revenue. The site features reviews of various factoring service providers, specifically targeting the Trucking industry. Revenue is generated through a partnership with the top-reviewed provider, a known industry leader. For every customer acquired, a commission is earned as a percentage of their volume with the client for the lifetime of that customer.

The project peaked in early 2022 during the post-COVID trucking boom but has since declined due to market conditions (the current transportation recession) and certain staff choices by the owner over the last eight months. However, this staffing issue has been resolved, and the number of newly active accounts increased significantly in February, consistent with the months before the sales team changes.

While some larger accounts have continued to show revenue decline, many others are exhibiting revenue growth, which could indicate the end of the transportation recession. Furthermore, a recently revamped PPC campaign is now bringing in more significant fleet leads, and recent changes to the sales team will ensure continued growth beyond the life cycle of accounts.

Traffic is driven solely through Google PPC. As such, there is plenty of potential for growth by gradually increasing the budget here and by expanding to other platforms. Building an email list, which has not been done, also offers an opportunity for additional marketing and growth. Additionally, social media has not been explored, which offers the chance to build a community and bring in a higher volume of leads.

The current owner spends only 1 hour per week operating the business, which is focused entirely on uploading data for automated optimization of ad campaigns. With no physical inventory, the business can be operated from anywhere. The owner is committed to ensuring this successful partnership continues and will assist with a smooth transition.
