Launched in 2013, this family-friendly recipe site features easy weeknight meals with fresh flavors and simple ingredients. The target market is people, mostly women, looking for easy and approachable recipes.

With this business, a buyer has an opportunity to take a high domain authority site with more than 500 recipes and scale it to new heights through a combination of improved content and social media strategy.

All of the earnings come from programmatic ads through Raptive (formerly AdThrive). The RPMs (revenue per thousand impressions) for the site have continued to grow with very nice increases from 2023 to 2024. Raptive continues to manage the category well and has been the biggest contributor to the earnings being up 15% YoY. According to Ahrefs, the site’s DA is an impressive 66. The site also boasts 17,000 backlinks, with 3,300 of those coming from unique domains. The site has also been featured and mentioned in Better Homes and Gardens, by their brand partners, and on Allrecipes.com. The buzz has been strong over the years with a long list of sites linking to the content including countryliving.com, Yahoo!, Elle, Yummly, MSN, BuzzFeed, Parade, and local city magazines.

The seller uses 2–3 contractors to run the site. One is used for Pinterest management and the other two are used for recipe development and photography. This staff is likely to move over to a new owner if needed. Also, the seller knows exactly where to find competent creators who can help either replace existing staff or scale the amount of content.

The seller generally works 10–15 hours per week on the site, but there are also weeks where she will not put in any time at all due to other commitments. The seller has another career as an economist and is also a consultant in the Recipe niche. She has never worked in the business full time and would like to divest to focus more on those other opportunities.

We are looking for cash buyers for this opportunity.
